About Ask Angie
Small Leaps. Big Growth.
Ask Angie is about helping people feel more confident with everyday technology, while also making room for creativity, curiosity and lifelong learning.
Technology changes quickly, but learning does not have to feel overwhelming. Sometimes all it takes is one question, one clear explanation and one small step forward.

Meet the Real Angie
I do not actually look like a frog.
I do, however, have red hair and often wear it in a braid, so the frog and I have at least a few things in common.
My name is Angie, and I am the real person behind Ask Angie. I help people with everyday digital tasks, and I also create colouring books, activity books and other creative projects.
I chose a frog because it fits the message Small Leaps. Big Growth. Learning usually does not happen all at once. It happens one question, one click and one small leap at a time.
The frog also reflects what I want Ask Angie to feel like: friendly, approachable, curious and always happy to help.
Curiosity
Curiosity has always been part of who I am.
My background includes software support, software training, marketing, print production, project implementation and program coordination.
No matter what role I was in, I enjoyed asking questions, tracking down problems and figuring out why something was not working.
I research the issue and explain the answer in plain language. When I do not know something, I will say so honestly and work with you to find the next step.
Lifelong Learning
We never stop learning.
Technology changes so quickly that everyone is still learning. No one should feel embarrassed because they do not know where to click or what button to press.
Some of the people who inspire me most are in their 80s and 90s. One friend sends me memes. Another creates brochures using Adobe Illustrator.
Age does not decide what we can learn. Curiosity keeps us growing.
Sometimes I am the teacher. Sometimes I am the student. Both help me grow.
Digital Balance
Technology should support life, not replace it.
Technology can help us stay connected, access important services and make everyday tasks easier.
It is also important to know when to step away from a screen. That is one reason I enjoy creating colouring books, journals and activity books.
Creative projects give people time to slow down, use their imagination and make something with their hands.
Colour. Garden. Walk. Read. Create. Connect.
Finding the Next Step
Helping does not mean pretending to know everything.
Sometimes I can answer the question myself. Sometimes I need to research it. Other times, the best way I can help is by connecting someone with the right person or resource.
Over the years, I have built a trusted network of people, businesses and community resources.
Good support begins with listening.
